The steelpan is the national instrument of Trinidad & Tobago.
This application is build of a tenor pan, tuned by Bertie Marshall,
the most famous steelpan tuner in Trinidad.
On the iPan you will find 28 notes from D4 to F6.
The sounds you hear when you touch are real!
No samples are used - only live recorded sounds.
The volume of the tones varies depending on the strength of tapping on the iPad!
The making of a steelpan is a very sophisticated art!

sounds like the real thing
i love the sounds the steel drum makes. I only wish I could record and save some of the music that I play on the drum. It is well worth the money to have this in your music arsenal

Ipan is the best
By far the best steel drum app out there. Id love to be able to record. Perhaps you could add the ability to record in an update. Well worth the money. Good job!!!!!

Love it. Its the best one on the store by far. Would like the ability to switch to a C4 lead from a D lead. Also top notes ring too long. Really detracts from the overall awesomeness. Can you make it slightly bigger so the rim is on/past the edge of the screen? My little iPhone is cramping my style. This would rock on an iPad I bet. Recording? Not a big deal to me. Thanks from a Midwest Pan player!
